QB LUKE ATWOOD connected with WR CHRIS ROSIER to put Vikings 0-6 a head. The Wolverines blocked the extra point to keep the score 0-6 after first quarter.
In the second quarter Vikings continued scoring quickly. After an onside
kick-off following the touchdown it took only 6 seconds into the quarter
before ATWOOD found ROSIER open again to put Vienna up 0-12. This time the
extra point play was scored by ASILADAB PASHA to make it 0-14. After
Vikings blocked the Wolverines punt on the next possession, they were once
again in a scoring position. This time Wolverines defense did not allow
Vikings to a touchdown and Vikings settled for a field goal by PETER
KRAMBERGER to make it 0-17. Vikings continued the scoring rally still in
the second quarter to make half time score 0-24 with PASHA scoring from a
pass by ATWOOD and extra point kick by KRAMBERGER.
In the second half ATWOOD ran the ball into the end zone to make it 0-31
while KRAMBERGER nailed the point after. ROSIER then finished his hat
trick scoring once again from ATWOOD pass before Wolverines got to the
board as KLAUS ALINEN caught a short pass from BART ZEMANEK to finish
scoring. Final score 6-38 put Vikings from the group while Wolverines will
travel next to Moscow to determine the second place in the group.
