Cheerleading World Championship in Japan - 28 nations dance for the title

Takasaki, Japan - On 11th and 12th of November the Cheerleading World Championships will take place in Takasaki, Japan. Once again, the best teams and individual performers from around the world compete to become the best of the best on the planet.

The venue is the Takasaki Arena, one of the newest indoor arenas in Japan. The super-modern arena was opened in April of this year and will be used, among other things, for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and for various major concerts - an ideal setting for the biggest cheerleading event of the year.

Overall, participants from 28 nations take part in the World Cup. That shows how far the cheerleading sport has now established itself across all continents.

The participants will fight for the medals in front of the audience and the jury in a total of 14 different categories and show breathtaking, highly professionally rehearsed and fiery choreographies - top-level cheer sport.
