Both sides have had strong seasons both in the EFAF Cup and in their domestic tournaments. The Gold Diggers are currently ranked third in the National League with a 5-1 record, except for a horrible game against the Copenhagen Towers the TEAM has showed very strong form beating opponents by an average of 60 points. In the EFAF Cup SGD have been equally dominant, beating the Prague Black Hawks by 43-13 and the Wroclaw Giants by 58-7. The Spartiates finished the regular season in second place with a 7-3 record in will be competing for the French title later in June. In the EFAF Cup Amiens played a close game against the Alphen Eagles and later beat the Gladiators of Basel handily. Hence, it is two teams at the top of their games taking the field on Saturday. The Gold Diggers are coming off a bye week, which in combination with an additional practice has given the team a great chance to prepare for the game. Amiens has been off since may 26th and should therefore be just as prepared as the Danes. With two rested and well-prepared teams it looks to be an exiting and close game. According to the EFAF rankings the French are slight favourites being ranked 12th in the latest rankings while SGD is in the 14th spot. The Søllerød Gold Diggers look forward to sharing an amazing football afternoon with you. The game will be played on the Show Field at Rundforbi Stadion - kick-off is at 3pm.
